May you be welcomed to the most transgressor blog you've ever visited, like I said, what is the objective of this? Really it has no clear objective whatsoever; this would be the first topic that I would like to talk about;

DOING THINGS JUST BECAUSE YOU WANT TO

Has it ever come to you to really want to do something, say something or even think something but you are anguished of what people may do, say or think about you? Or even on how they might react towards you in the future. It has been proven that social pressure is one of the main causes of teenage suicide; this due to the fact that as human beings WE are always seeking for recognition or in simple words; people always try to impress the people around them (it’s true; if you don’t believe me next time you’re in a conversation, see how long it takes the other person (and yourself!) to start mentioning personal accomplishments.)

I hate to break it to you, but the person who says he/she has never been afraid of what people might say/think or react is lying. Here’s a clear and simple explanation, how many times have you seen a blouse or a shirt displayed in a mannequin at a fancy store? What’s the first idea that comes to your mind? On a regular basis average individual mind this would be “How will I look wearing this? Is it too much? Is it a bit ‘whorish’? Is it too gay?”  Despite all of this you STILL LIKE IT! Seconds after that your inner self tells you NO and you forget about the mannequin. What’s my point? That if we’re that picky with what people might think of clothing how picky are we to base our IMPORTANT decisions on what people think?

With all of the above I’m not saying I’m against society standards; I actually follow them, in order to be respected not judged we are to be PRUDE; I have my own thoughts, my own likes and my own preferences but I know the time, place and people who to share this with and luckily I have to give credit about them to no one but myself.

It is clear to me that we all want success and greatness; and we should seek it, BUT DON’T LIVE FOR OTHERS, don’t base your career choice, lifestyle or even leisure time solely on what gives you status, IF YOU WANT TO BE GREAT THEN DO SOMETHING GREAT. Not because it will earn you respect in the eyes of others, but because you want to live a meaningful life and fulfill your potential, regardless of the attention it will draw. There’s nothing to worry about it, even though others initially reject you, you can go to sleep knowing that your conscience is clear, and knowing that in the end, truth will prevail.

Bottom-line; IT’S BETTER TO REGRET DOING, SAYING or THINKING SOMETHING, TO REGRET FOR DOING NOTHING.
